My thickness sander
	This is all made from recycled components except the pillow blocks and the main axle. Even the 1250W induction motor came off the side of the road! The base plate is the cutout from the kitchen bench, and the nice hard flat laminated surface is excellent. The material is also very stable and rigid, which is important in getting a consistent cut.
