Andrew Edward Heath emigrated from Devon on the "Roxburgh Castle", arriving in Dec 1857. Five members of the Isard family were also on the ship, so it's fair to presume that he met his wife Elizabeth on the ship. She was 20, and was travelling with her mother Alice E (aged 61), her brother Henry A (aged 29), her 24-yo sister-in-law (or sister?) Ellen, and the one-year-old Herbert.
Andrew and Elizabeth had their first child two years later in 1859, and while living in Collingwood in 1864 they were host to Robert and Susan who had arrived in January.
The shipping details are from the Public Records Office, code B fiche 138 page 1
It seem possible that Andrew applied (prior to Sep 1914) for Letters Patent for a method for bulk handling of grain . Worth investigating?
